Brooklyn Graffiti Art Summer Camp
- 1 Week Session
Graffiti Art Summer Camp in Brooklyn
Graffiti Summer Camp is a super fun artsy and creative way to spend your summer. Taught by local Brooklyn artists, give your kids the gift of creativity this summer. Learn the tips and techniques of aerosol art, from fill-ins to masterpieces, as you immerse yourself in graffiti art culture.
Format: A typical morning will begin with a street art adventure where we will tour a cool and unique neighborhood in NYC. The tour will focus on seeing what is really going on in terms of the modern day street art of New York city. After the Street art tour we will convene in the Graff tours studio for a graffiti painting class and an opportunity for the kids to produce their own work on canvas. At the end of the session, campers will be allowed to take all completed work home.
Timing: This unique hands-on summer camp will be offered as 1 week sessions. Each 1 week session will take place Monday thru Friday 10 a.m to 3 p.m.
Where: The workshop takes place in and around our beautiful Brooklyn art studio in the heart of Bushwick Brooklyn. Cultivating creative thought and a welcoming environment, this experience is designed for all ages and talent levels. Our Brooklyn Art Studio is located at 282 Meserole st. in Bushwick Brooklyn. The closest subway stop is the Montrose L Train stop.
What It Includes: We supply paint, canvas, gloves, studio time, and of course, a NYC graffiti artist.
What to Bring: Bring your own bag to bring your work home with you and lunch. A tote bag or backpack is great. Wear casual clothes (nothing you would regret getting paint on). The paint does come off, but it gives everyone less anxiety if you don’t wear a gown or a tux.
Covid-19: We will be limiting each week session to only three participants. This will ensure social distance. Each participant will have to get a Covid-19 test before beginning our program and mask wearing will be mandatory.
