RIP King Robbo
We regret to report that this week the great King Robbo, of London UK graffiti fame, is dead. Robbo was a pioneer graffiti writer in the early years of the London Graffiti scene in the 1980’s, but was probably most famous for his feud with Banksy. Robbo originally criticized Banksy for stealing the famous stencil image of a rat from Blek la Rat – a french stencil artist. Banksy took offense to the allegation and crossed the oldest Robbo piece in London on the canal. Watch the documentary below.
Robbo has been in a coma since 2011 after being found at the bottom of a set of stairs. Robbo passed away at 45. RIP King Robbo.
